The New DUI campaign promotes awareness that impaired driving is not tolerated in state

As Wyoming has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors throughout the summer, the Governor's Council on Impaired Driving (WCID) has worked hard to send the message that alcohol and drug-impaired driving are not tolerated in our state. A press release by the WCID and WASCOP resulted in a number of news stories, including a  A 9News report reminding visitors  that, while other nearby states including Colorado have legalized marijuana, laws against the drug in Wyoming are strictly enforced.
The Governor’s Council on Impaired Driving and the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police have launched “ The New DUI” campaign to promote awareness that driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is dangerous, detectable and consequential. Learn more at www.thenewdui.org
